Viewing call recordings in the RingCentral app

If you record any of your calls in the RingCentral app, they will be shown in the Call recordings section of the Phone menu.
To view call recordings, click Phone on the left hand navigation bar, and then click Call recordings.
On this page, your call recordings are listed by most recent, with the caller’s name (if applicable) and their phone number.
In addition to seeing the name and number of each call recording, you can also perform specific actions on each call recording, such as calling the person related to the call recording, downloading the call recording, and more. You can look up a recorded call using the Filter recordings field by typing in a name or phone number.
Viewing call recordings
When you hover your mouse over any of the call recordings, the following buttons will appear at far right:
- Play: Click the play button to listen to the recording. You can use the slider beside this button to fast forward or rewind the call recording.
- Message: Click the double chat bubble icon to send a message to the caller. This option is only available if the sender is in your RingCentral contacts list.
- Text: Click the chat bubble icon to send a text message to the call recipient. You will be redirected to a text message thread to continue drafting your text. This option is available if the sender is not on your RingCentral contacts list.
- Start video call: If available, click this option to start a video meeting.
- Start screen share: Click to start sharing your screen and presenting files.
- Schedule video meeting: Click to schedule a video meeting.
- Phone: Click the phone icon to call the recipient.
- Download: Click this option to download and save the recording as a .mp3 file.
- Delete: Click this option to delete or remove the voicemail message from your list of received voicemails. Click Delete once more on the modal window to confirm.
- Block/Unblock: Click to either block or unblock the sender. This will not block all numbers associated with the sender, only that specific number.
