Paging a group in the RingCentral mobile app

Paging allows you to make real-time, one-way announcements over IP phones and overhead paging devices. You can send a page to a Paging-only group in your RingCentral MVP account — a collection of paging devices and/or desk phones that can receive paging calls.
When you navigate to the Other tab in the Contacts interface, the paging group shows a profile picture that looks like a speaker.
In order to use this feature, your RingCentral MVP account administrators must first create and set up a Paging-only group. To learn more about setting up a Paging-only group, visit How to Set Up Paging on the RingCentral Online Account.
Paging a group
- Navigate to Contacts via the bottom bar.
- Tap the Other tab.
- Select the paging group from the list.
- Tap the speaker icon under the group’s name
OR
Tap the speaker icon in the far right corner of the group’s extension field. - Announce your message, then tap the red button to end the call.
