Disabling incoming calls while in a meeting on RingCentral app desktop and web

Last updated on May 11, 2022
When you want to still be able to receive messaging notifications but don’t want your RingCentral Video meeting to be disturbed by an incoming call, you can disable incoming calls. Disabling incoming calls will reject incoming video calls, and automatically send voice calls to your voicemail. This saves you from going on Do Not Disturb (DND) status.
  1. From the RingCentral app, go to Settings via the left navigation.
  2. Go to Video.
  3. Under General, slide the Allow incoming calls while in a meeting toggle to enable or disable incoming calls.

Note: If you enable or disable incoming calls in the RingCentral app for desktop, the setting will not sync on the RingCentral app for web. You must configure your settings on the RingCentral app for web separately.
