Unable to join or host RingCentral Meetings sessions

If you’re using version 21.4.30 of the RingCentral app, the folder for storing your RingCentral Meetings session recordings is set by default to a location that is inaccessible. This results in you being unable to start or join a RingCentral Meetings session. While this issue will be fixed in a future release, a manual fix is required at this time.

Resolution

You can resolve this issue by changing the default folder path of your RingCentral Meetings session recordings to an accessible folder.
  1. Go to Settings via the left hand navigation bar.
  2. Select the Video tab from the left pane.
  3. Click the Edit button at the far right of the Video meeting settings.
  4. Select the Recordings tab, then click Change at the far left of Store my recordings at.
  5. Choose a folder you can access.
  6. Click OK.
