Attention: The security certificate on some deskphones expired on August 16, 2024. RingCentral updated them, but if your phone isn’t working, it may be because the update failed. To get your phone working again, you’ll need to factory reset it and set it up again.

Factory resetting your deskphone

On August 16th, 2024, certificates on some deskphones expired, which prevented them from connecting to the RingCentral system.

What’s the impact?

Phones with outdated and invalid certificates that couldn't be remotely updated by RingCentral lost functionality, including the ability to make and receive calls.

What do you need to do?

To fix this issue, you’ll need to factory reset your phone and then set it up to work with RingCentral’s system.
