Use this guide to identify devices on your account that will no longer work with RingCentral, and what to do if any of yours has reached end of service (EOS) or life (EOL).
Note: We use EOS and EOL interchangeably.

Check the devices on your account

Can I use a phone that isn’t on the replacement recommendation list?
The device can be registered as a BYOD phone by following the instructions for SIP manual provisioning.
What happens to my device after the security certificate expires?
Phones registered before the security certificate expiration will keep their connection, but if the phone is reset or unplugged, it will not reconnect. If the connection is lost, you’ll need to re-configure the phone as a BYOD device by following the instructions for SIP manual provisioning.
