Cisco SPA phones and ATAs reaching end of life
Certain Cisco SPA phones and analog telephone adaptors (ATAs) are approaching or have reached their end of life. These devices will no longer work with the RingCentral System.

Cisco has announced end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for Cisco SPA 303 and other series model phones.
This means that your Cisco phone configuration will become locked when the security certificate expires. The phone will continue to operate, but configuration changes will not function normally. The devices will no longer be able to authenticate with the provisioning server so updates will no longer be possible. If the device is factory reset or if the phone configuration in the Admin Portal is deleted, the phone will stop working.

Phones registered prior to the security certificate expiration will keep their connection, but if the phone is reset or unplugged it will not reconnect. If the connection is lost, you’ll need to re-configure the phone as a BYOD device by following the instructions for SIP manual provisioning.

How to find your Cisco End of Life device(s)
- Once you’ve signed in to the Admin Portal, go to Phone System > Phones & Devices > User Phones.
- Select User Phones.
- Click the Filter icon and open the Device filter.
- Type the affected model numbers and select the filter. The phones displayed in the list are the phones which need to be replaced.
Note: If you do not see any phones matching the models, skip to the next step.
- Select Common Area Phones and click the Filter icon.
- Type the affected model numbers and select the filter. The phones displayed in the list are the phones which need to be replaced.
