RINGCENTRAL App

Desktop and web app, version 23.3.31 (Release date: Desktop: October 11 to 17, 2023 | Web: September 18 to 27, 2023)

  • Embedded audio quality diagnostic tool: A new tool for users to test their audio quality under current conditions without having to place a call to a coworker/PSTN number to find out. 
  • Screen zoom setting in the app for desktop app: Introducing screen zoom setting for the desktop app. 
  • Mac F6: Add popup for OS permissions: A convenient way to provide the needed Accessibility permissions to use F6 for calling on macOS.
  • Message clustering: We’ve streamlined your message feed by grouping messages sent simultaneously. Making it easier for you to read and respond to your conversations.
  • Copy phone numbers in RC app: Phone & Inbox: An easier way to copy the phone number of the caller directly from the call log, voicemail, text, fax list.
  • Active call screen layout improvement: Get quicker access to popular in-call features like hold and transfer, with our new 3-row action button layout.
  • Admin Setting for Auto-Answer: Account-Level: Add the account level setting for admins to turn on or turn off auto-answer in Service Web.

Mobile app, version 23.4.11 (Release date: October 26 to November 1, 2023)

  • Switch accounts: Now you can access multiple accounts from your RingCentral app. Once you're signed in to the accounts, you can easily switch between them from your profile menu.
  • Push-to-talk: Settings for beep sounds: Turn on/off the beep sounds of outgoing/incoming Push-to-talk audio messages.
  • Better breakout room moderation: Moderators can now manage breakout room sessions. They can support hosts by setting up sessions, broadcasting messages, and providing help when needed.
  • Webinar GA for RingCentral UK and Australia brands: RingCentral Webinar is now GA in the UK and Australia. As of October 6, 2023, customers in the RingCentral UK and Australia brands can purchase RingCentral Webinar licenses via the Meeting Add-Ons page on Service Web.
  • Moderated Q&A: Webinar hosts can now moderate incoming questions enabling them to filter content and exercise greater control on their webinar session. 
  • Multiple language support for webinars: Webinar organizers can now choose one of 18 languages for their session when scheduling the webinar. This selection then flows through all aspects of the webinar from calendar invitations to email reminders to registration landing pages.
  • Customize tabs: Choose how to access your voicemail, calls, texts, or other functions. Put them under the main menu or under the Phone tab. Or, you can use the Inbox to see all your messages in one place.

RingCentral Rooms

Version 23.4.10 (Release date: October 23, 2023)

  • Versions older than 6 months will not be supported: If Rooms is on a version 6 months older than the current version, users will be notified 4 weeks ahead before the app is no longer supported. 
  • ATT/Telus brand support on Windows de-branded app: Users of ATT/Telus can now use their own room account to log in to Windows Rooms for meeting experience.
